Quran with English translation - Surah Maryam ayat 5 - مَريَم - Page - Juz 16
﴿وَإِنِّي خِفۡتُ ٱلۡمَوَٰلِيَ مِن وَرَآءِي وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا فَهَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 5]
﴿وإني خفت الموالي من ورائي وكانت امرأتي عاقرا فهب لي من لدنك﴾ [مَريَم: 5]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “And I indeed fear what my people will do after me, but my wife is barren, so give me an heir as from You |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And indeed I am afraid of my relatives after me (when I am dead), and my wife is infertile, so give me an heir from Yourself |
| Ali Quli Qarai Indeed I fear my kinsmen, after me, and my wife is barren. So grant me from Yourself an heir |
| Ali Unal I have fears about (how) my kinsmen (will act in respect of continuing my mission, and safeguarding the future of Mary), and my wife is barren. So bestow upon me a successor out of Your grace |
