﴿هَلۡ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ فِي ظُلَلٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡغَمَامِ وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَقُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرۡجَعُ ٱلۡأُمُورُ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 210]
﴿هل ينظرون إلا أن يأتيهم الله في ظلل من الغمام والملائكة وقضي﴾ [البَقَرَة: 210]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir They do not wait aught but that Allah should come to them in the shadows of the clouds along with the angels, and the matter has (already) been decided; and (all) matters are returned to Allah |
| Mohammad Shafi Are they waiting for nothing but Allah — and the angels — to come down to them in the shadows of the clouds, and the matter is settled once for all? And to Allah are referred all matters |
