﴿وَإِذۡ قُلۡنَا لِلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسۡجُدُواْ لِأٓدَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓاْ إِلَّآ إِبۡلِيسَ أَبَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 116]
﴿وإذ قلنا للملائكة اسجدوا لآدم فسجدوا إلا إبليس أبى﴾ [طه: 116]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And when We said to the angels: Make obeisance to Adam, they made obeisance, but Iblis (did it not); he refused |
| Mohammad Shafi And when We asked the angels to prostrate before Adam, prostrated they all except for Iblees. He (Iblees) refused |
