Quran with British translation - Surah Ta-Ha ayat 117 - طه - Page - Juz 16
﴿فَقُلۡنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا عَدُوّٞ لَّكَ وَلِزَوۡجِكَ فَلَا يُخۡرِجَنَّكُمَا مِنَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ فَتَشۡقَىٰٓ ﴾
[طه: 117]
﴿فقلنا ياآدم إن هذا عدو لك ولزوجك فلا يخرجنكما من الجنة فتشقى﴾ [طه: 117]
Mohammad Habib Shakir So We said: O Adam! This is an enemy to you and to your wife; therefore let him not drive you both forth from the garden so that you should be unhappy |
Mohammad Shafi And We said, "O Adam! This is an enemy to you and to your wife; so let him not drive you both out from the garden and thus make you miserable |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Therefor we said: O Adam! This is an enemy unto thee and unto thy wife, so let him not drive you both out of the Garden so that thou come to toil |
Mufti Taqi Usmani So, We said “’Ādam, this is an enemy to you and to your wife. So let him not expel you from Paradise, lest you should get into trouble |
