﴿وَمَا جَعَلۡنَا لِبَشَرٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ ٱلۡخُلۡدَۖ أَفَإِيْن مِّتَّ فَهُمُ ٱلۡخَٰلِدُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 34]
﴿وما جعلنا لبشر من قبلك الخلد أفإن مت فهم الخالدون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 34]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you. What! Then if you die, will they abide |
Mohammad Shafi And We did not ordain immortality for any man before you. And so if you die, will they remain alive |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall We appointed immortality for no mortal before thee. What! if thou diest, can they be immortal |
Mufti Taqi Usmani We did not assign immortality to any human (even) before you. So, if you die, will they live for ever |
