﴿فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَهُمۡ عَذَابُ يَوۡمِ ٱلظُّلَّةِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ ﴾
[الشعراء: 189]
﴿فكذبوه فأخذهم عذاب يوم الظلة إنه كان عذاب يوم عظيم﴾ [الشعراء: 189]
Mohammad Habib Shakir But they called him a liar, so the punishment of the day of covering overtook them; surely it was the punishment of a grievous day |
Mohammad Shafi So they disbelieved him. And thereupon punishment gripped them on a gloomy day. And, verily, it was a punishment of a dreadful day |
