﴿فَيَوۡمَئِذٖ لَّا يَنفَعُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مَعۡذِرَتُهُمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يُسۡتَعۡتَبُونَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 57]
﴿فيومئذ لا ينفع الذين ظلموا معذرتهم ولا هم يستعتبون﴾ [الرُّوم: 57]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir But on that day their excuse shall not profit those who were unjust, nor shall they be regarded with goodwill |
| Mohammad Shafi That Day then the wicked people shall not get any benefit from their excuses/apologies, nor shall they be allowed to solicit favours |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall In that day their excuses will not profit those who did injustice, nor will they be allowed to make amends |
