Quran with British translation - Surah Luqman ayat 17 - لُقمَان - Page - Juz 21
﴿يَٰبُنَيَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱنۡهَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 17]
﴿يابني أقم الصلاة وأمر بالمعروف وانه عن المنكر واصبر على ما أصابك﴾ [لُقمَان: 17]
Mohammad Habib Shakir O my son! keep up prayer and enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and bear patiently that which befalls you; surely these acts require courage |
Mohammad Shafi O my son! Establish the Prayer,enjoin good, and forbid evil. And bear patiently any affliction that you may suffer. These indeed are among acts of great courage |
