Quran with English translation - Surah Luqman ayat 17 - لُقمَان - Page - Juz 21
﴿يَٰبُنَيَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱنۡهَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 17]
﴿يابني أقم الصلاة وأمر بالمعروف وانه عن المنكر واصبر على ما أصابك﴾ [لُقمَان: 17]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “O my son, establish prayer, encourage what is just, and discourage what is wrong, and bear with patient constancy whatever may happen to you, for this is firmness of purpose in the conduct of affairs |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad My son, perform the mandatory prayer and instruct to the right (and acceptable) and prohibit from the wrong (and unacceptable) and be patient about what happens to you, indeed that is the matters of great determination |
Ali Quli Qarai O my son! Maintain the prayer and bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and be patient through whatever may befall you. That is indeed the steadiest of courses |
Ali Unal My dear son! Establish the Prayer in conformity with its conditions, enjoin and promote what is right and good and forbid and try to prevent the evil, and bear patiently whatever may befall you. Surely (all of) that is among greatly meritorious things requiring great resolution to fulfill |
