Quran with British translation - Surah Luqman ayat 22 - لُقمَان - Page - Juz 21
﴿۞ وَمَن يُسۡلِمۡ وَجۡهَهُۥٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحۡسِنٞ فَقَدِ ٱسۡتَمۡسَكَ بِٱلۡعُرۡوَةِ ٱلۡوُثۡقَىٰۗ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡأُمُورِ ﴾
[لُقمَان: 22]
﴿ومن يسلم وجهه إلى الله وهو محسن فقد استمسك بالعروة الوثقى وإلى﴾ [لُقمَان: 22]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And whoever submits himself wholly to Allah and he is the doer of good (to others), he indeed has taken hold of the firmest thing upon which one can lay hold; and Allah's is the end of affairs |
Mohammad Shafi And he who submits himself to Allah and is good to others, he has taken a firm hold of a strong link. And with Allah is the end of all matters |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Whosoever surrendereth his purpose to Allah while doing good, he verily hath grasped the firm hand-hold. Unto Allah belongeth the sequel of all things |
Mufti Taqi Usmani And whoever submits his self to Allah and is good in deeds, he in fact holds on to the strongest ring. Towards Allah is the ultimate end of all matters |
Muhammad Asad Now whoever surrenders his whole being unto God, and is a doer of good withal, has indeed taken hold of a support most unfailing: for with God rests the final outcome of all events |
