﴿فَذُوقُواْ بِمَا نَسِيتُمۡ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِكُمۡ هَٰذَآ إِنَّا نَسِينَٰكُمۡۖ وَذُوقُواْ عَذَابَ ٱلۡخُلۡدِ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 14]
﴿فذوقوا بما نسيتم لقاء يومكم هذا إنا نسيناكم وذوقوا عذاب الخلد بما﴾ [السَّجدة: 14]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir So taste, because you neglected the meeting of this day of yours; surely We forsake you; and taste the abiding chastisement for what you did |
| Mohammad Shafi So taste the consequence: because you were oblivious of your appointment for this Day, We are indeed oblivious of you now! And taste the eternal punishment for what you did |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall So taste (the evil of your deeds). Forasmuch as ye forgot the meeting of this your day, lo! We forget you. Taste the doom of immortality because of what ye used to do |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, have a taste, because you had forgotten the meeting of this day of yours. We have forgotten you; and taste the eternal punishment for what you used to do |
