Quran with British translation - Surah As-Sajdah ayat 13 - السَّجدة - Page - Juz 21
﴿وَلَوۡ شِئۡنَا لَأٓتَيۡنَا كُلَّ نَفۡسٍ هُدَىٰهَا وَلَٰكِنۡ حَقَّ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ مِنِّي لَأَمۡلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ ٱلۡجِنَّةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجۡمَعِينَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 13]
﴿ولو شئنا لآتينا كل نفس هداها ولكن حق القول مني لأملأن جهنم﴾ [السَّجدة: 13]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And if We had pleased We would certainly have given to every soul its guidance, but the word (which had gone forth) from Me was just: I will certainly fill hell with the jinn and men together |
| Mohammad Shafi And had We so willed, We could have given every soul its guidance. But (as Allah declares,) "The word from Me is bound to come true that I will certainly fill Hell with the jinn and the humans together |
