﴿أَفَمَن كَانَ مُؤۡمِنٗا كَمَن كَانَ فَاسِقٗاۚ لَّا يَسۡتَوُۥنَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 18]
﴿أفمن كان مؤمنا كمن كان فاسقا لا يستوون﴾ [السَّجدة: 18]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal |
Mohammad Shafi Can he then who is a believer be like him who has been a transgressor/profligate!? They cannot be equal |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Is he who is a believer like unto him who is an evil-liver? They are not alike |
Mufti Taqi Usmani So, can one who is a believer become like one who is a sinner? They cannot become equal |
