﴿وَمَا عَلَّمۡنَٰهُ ٱلشِّعۡرَ وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُۥٓۚ إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ وَقُرۡءَانٞ مُّبِينٞ ﴾
[يسٓ: 69]
﴿وما علمناه الشعر وما ينبغي له إن هو إلا ذكر وقرآن مبين﴾ [يسٓ: 69]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a plain Quran |
| Mohammad Shafi And We have not taught him (Prophet Muhammad) poetry, nor does it befit him. This (Qur'aan) is nothing but a clear Narrative and Reading |
