Quran with British translation - Surah sad ayat 30 - صٓ - Page - Juz 23
﴿وَوَهَبۡنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيۡمَٰنَۚ نِعۡمَ ٱلۡعَبۡدُ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ﴾
[صٓ: 30]
﴿ووهبنا لداود سليمان نعم العبد إنه أواب﴾ [صٓ: 30]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And We gave to Dawood Sulaiman, most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah) |
| Mohammad Shafi And We bestowed Solomon — an excellent devotee — [as a son] to David. He would indeed always turn to Us |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And We bestowed on David, Solomon. How excellent a slave! Lo! he was ever turning in repentance (toward Allah) |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani And We blessed Dawūd with Sulaimān. He was an excellent servant (of Allah). Surely, he was great in turning (to Us, in penitence and praise) |
| Muhammad Asad AND UNTO DAVID We granted Solomon [as a son - and] how excellent a servant [of Ours he grew up to be]! Behold, he would always turn unto Us |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali And We bestowed on Dawud (David) Sulayman; (Solomon) how excellent a bondman he was! Surely he was a constant resorter (to Us) |
| Muhammad Sarwar We granted Solomon to David, a blessed servant of Ours and certainly the most repentant person |
