﴿قَدۡ قَالَهَا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ ﴾
[الزُّمَر: 50]
﴿قد قالها الذين من قبلهم فما أغنى عنهم ما كانوا يكسبون﴾ [الزُّمَر: 50]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Those before them did say it indeed, but what they earned availed them not |
| Mohammad Shafi The people before them had said the same, but their earnings were of no avail to them |
