Quran with British translation - Surah Ghafir ayat 35 - غَافِر - Page - Juz 24
﴿ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيۡرِ سُلۡطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمۡۖ كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلۡبِ مُتَكَبِّرٖ جَبَّارٖ ﴾
[غَافِر: 35]
﴿الذين يجادلون في آيات الله بغير سلطان أتاهم كبر مقتا عند الله﴾ [غَافِر: 35]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Those who dispute concerning the communications of Allah without any authority that He has given them; greatly hated is it by Allah and by-those who believe. Thus does Allah set a seal over the heart of every proud, haughty one |
| Mohammad Shafi [Allah lets] those [go astray] who quarrel over Allah's Verses/signs without having any authority — a greatly hateful behaviour in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who believe. Allah thus does set a seal [of abhorrence] on arrogant mind of every tyrant |
