Quran with British translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 51 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 25
﴿وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٖ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 51]
﴿وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان أعرض ونأى بجانبه وإذا مسه الشر فذو دعاء﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 51]
Mohammad Habib Shakir And when We show favor to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications |
Mohammad Shafi And when We shower Our favours upon man he keeps himself arrogantly aloof. And when anything bad happens to him, he prays a great deal |
