Quran with English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 51 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 25
﴿وَإِذَآ أَنۡعَمۡنَا عَلَى ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِ أَعۡرَضَ وَنَـَٔا بِجَانِبِهِۦ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ ٱلشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَآءٍ عَرِيضٖ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 51]
﴿وإذا أنعمنا على الإنسان أعرض ونأى بجانبه وإذا مسه الشر فذو دعاء﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 51]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al When We bestow favor on the human being, he turns away and distances himself, and when harm seizes him, he comes full of prolonged prayer |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when We favor upon the human being, he turns away and moves away to his side, and when the badness touches him then he has a lengthy prayer |
| Ali Quli Qarai When We bless man, he is disregardful and turns aside; but when an ill befalls him, he makes protracted supplications |
| Ali Unal When We bestow favors upon human, he retreats and draws aside (from his Lord), and when evil befalls him, then he has recourse to long supplications |
| Hamid S Aziz And when We show favour to man, he turns aside and withdraws himself; and when evil touches him, he makes lengthy supplications |
| John Medows Rodwell When we are gracious to man, he withdraweth and turneth him aside: but when evil toucheth him, he is a man of long prayers |
| Literal And if We blessed/comforted and eased on the human/mankind he objected/opposed and he went far with his side/direction, and if the bad/evil/harm touched him, so (he is owner) of (a) wide/broad call/request/prayer |
