﴿أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ فِيٓ أُمَمٖ قَدۡ خَلَتۡ مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ وَٱلۡإِنسِۖ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴾
[الأحقَاف: 18]
﴿أولئك الذين حق عليهم القول في أمم قد خلت من قبلهم من﴾ [الأحقَاف: 18]
Mohammad Habib Shakir These are they against whom the word has proved true among nations of the jinn and the men that have already passed away before them; surely they are losers |
Mohammad Shafi Such are the ones among peoples of the jinn and mankind, which have passed away before them, on whom the divine Word has proved true. They indeed are the doomed ones |
