﴿كَانُواْ لَا يَتَنَاهَوۡنَ عَن مُّنكَرٖ فَعَلُوهُۚ لَبِئۡسَ مَا كَانُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ ﴾
[المَائدة: 79]
﴿كانوا لا يتناهون عن منكر فعلوه لبئس ما كانوا يفعلون﴾ [المَائدة: 79]
Mohammad Habib Shakir They used not to forbid each other the hateful things (which) they did; certainly evil was that which they did |
Mohammad Shafi They were not forbidding one another from the forbidden things they did. What they did was certainly bad |
