Quran with British translation - Surah Al-hashr ayat 12 - الحَشر - Page - Juz 28
﴿لَئِنۡ أُخۡرِجُواْ لَا يَخۡرُجُونَ مَعَهُمۡ وَلَئِن قُوتِلُواْ لَا يَنصُرُونَهُمۡ وَلَئِن نَّصَرُوهُمۡ لَيُوَلُّنَّ ٱلۡأَدۡبَٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[الحَشر: 12]
﴿لئن أخرجوا لا يخرجون معهم ولئن قوتلوا لا ينصرونهم ولئن نصروهم ليولن﴾ [الحَشر: 12]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Certainly if these are driven forth, they will not go forth with them, and if they are fought against, they will not help them, and even if they help-them, they will certainly turn (their) backs, then they shall not be helped |
Mohammad Shafi If they [the Jews] are driven out, they [hypocrites] will certainly not go with them. And if they [the former] are attacked, they [the latter] will not help them. And even if the hypocrites go to help the Jews, the former will turn their backs in flight, and then the latter will not get any help |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall (For) indeed if they are driven out they go not out with them, and indeed if they are attacked they help them not, and indeed if they had helped them they would have turned and fled, and then they would not have been victorious |
