Quran with British translation - Surah Al-An‘am ayat 135 - الأنعَام - Page - Juz 8
﴿قُلۡ يَٰقَوۡمِ ٱعۡمَلُواْ عَلَىٰ مَكَانَتِكُمۡ إِنِّي عَامِلٞۖ فَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ مَن تَكُونُ لَهُۥ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلدَّارِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 135]
﴿قل ياقوم اعملوا على مكانتكم إني عامل فسوف تعلمون من تكون له﴾ [الأنعَام: 135]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Say: O my people! act according to your ability; I too am acting; so you will soon come to know, for whom (of us) will be the (good) end of the abode; surely the unjust shall not be successful |
| Mohammad Shafi Say, "O my people! You do your best and I do what I do. You will duly come to know for which of us the final abode will be. Surely, the wicked persons shall not be successful |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Say (O Muhammad): O my people! Work according to your power. Lo! I too am working. Thus ye will come to know for which of us will be the happy sequel. Lo! the wrong-doers will not be successful |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani Say, “O my people, do at your place (whatever you do.) I have to do (in my way). So, you will know for whom is the ultimate abode. Surely, the wrongdoers will not be successful.” |
| Muhammad Asad Say: "O my [unbelieving] people! Do yet all that may be within your power, [while] I, behold, shall labour [in God's way]; and in time you will come to know to whom the future belongs. Verily, never will evildoers attain to a happy state |
| Muhammad Mahmoud Ghali Say, "O my people, act (Literally: do) according to your situation; surely I am acting. Then eventually you will know who will have the (ultimate) End (i.e., Paradise) of the Residence! Sure it is (that) the unjust will not prosper |
| Muhammad Sarwar (Muhammad), tell your people, "I shall do whatever I can and you may do whatever you want, but you will soon know who will be victorious. It is certain that the unjust will never have happiness |

| N J Dawood Say: ‘My people, do all that is in your power, and I will do what is in mine. You shall learn who is to gain the recompense of the Hereafter; the wrongdoers shall never succeed.‘ |
| Safi Kaskas Say, "My people, continue to do what you are doing, and so will I, and in time you will come to know to whom the future belongs." The unjust will never prosper |
