Quran with British translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 79 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّي وَنَصَحۡتُ لَكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُحِبُّونَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 79]
﴿فتولى عنهم وقال ياقوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالة ربي ونصحت لكم ولكن لا﴾ [الأعرَاف: 79]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir Then he turned away from them and said: O my people I did certainly deliver to you the message of my Lord, and I gave you good advice, but you do not love those who give good advice |
| Mohammad Shafi Then he turned away from them and said, "O my people! I did certainly deliver to you the Message of my Lord, and I gave you advice, but you do not like those who advise |
| Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall And (Salih) turned from them and said: O my people! I delivered my Lord's message unto you and gave you good advice, but ye love not good advisers |
| Mufti Taqi Usmani So, he turned away from them and said, “O my people, indeed I have delivered to you the message of my Lord, and wished you betterment, but you do not like the well-wishers.” |
