Quran with English translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 79 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿فَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنۡهُمۡ وَقَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ لَقَدۡ أَبۡلَغۡتُكُمۡ رِسَالَةَ رَبِّي وَنَصَحۡتُ لَكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُحِبُّونَ ٱلنَّٰصِحِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 79]
﴿فتولى عنهم وقال ياقوم لقد أبلغتكم رسالة ربي ونصحت لكم ولكن لا﴾ [الأعرَاف: 79]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So Salih turned away from them saying, “O my people, I did indeed convey to you the message for which I was sent by my Lord. I gave you good counsel, but you love not good counselors.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Then he (Salih) turned away from them and said: my people, I have certainly preached the message of my Master to you and advised you, but you do not like the advisers |
| Ali Quli Qarai So he abandoned them [to their fate], and said, ‘O my people! Certainly I communicated to you the message of my Lord, and I was your well-wisher, but you did not like well-wishers.’ |
| Ali Unal And Salih left them, saying: "O my people! I conveyed to you the message of my Lord and gave you good counsel; but you have no love for good counselors |
| Hamid S Aziz And Salih turned away from them and said, "O my people! I did deliver unto you the message of my Lord, and I gave you good advice; but you love not sincere advisers |
| John Medows Rodwell So he turned away from them, and said, "O my people! I did indeed announce to you the message of my Lord: and I gave you faithful counsel, but ye love not faithful counsellors |
| Literal So he turned away from them and he said: "My nation, I had communicated/informed (to) you my Lord`s message, and I advised to you, and but you do not love/like the advisors/counselors |
| Mir Anees Original Then he (Salih) turned away from them and said, "O my people ! I had conveyed to you the message of my Fosterer and given you good advice but you do not love good advisers |
