Quran with British translation - Surah Al-A‘raf ayat 86 - الأعرَاف - Page - Juz 8
﴿وَلَا تَقۡعُدُواْ بِكُلِّ صِرَٰطٖ تُوعِدُونَ وَتَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ مَنۡ ءَامَنَ بِهِۦ وَتَبۡغُونَهَا عِوَجٗاۚ وَٱذۡكُرُوٓاْ إِذۡ كُنتُمۡ قَلِيلٗا فَكَثَّرَكُمۡۖ وَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 86]
﴿ولا تقعدوا بكل صراط توعدون وتصدون عن سبيل الله من آمن به﴾ [الأعرَاف: 86]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And do not lie in wait in every path, threatening and turning away from Allah's way him who believes in Him and seeking to make it crooked; and remember when you were few then He multiplied you, and consider what was the end of the mischief-makers |
| Mohammad Shafi And do not lie in wait on every path, cajoling away and hindering one who believes in Allah from His way, seeking to make it crooked, complicated or difficult.And remember when you were but few, He increased you in number. And look! What the mischief-makers end up with |
