﴿إِلَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَزۡوَٰجِهِمۡ أَوۡ مَا مَلَكَتۡ أَيۡمَٰنُهُمۡ فَإِنَّهُمۡ غَيۡرُ مَلُومِينَ ﴾
[المَعَارج: 30]
﴿إلا على أزواجهم أو ما ملكت أيمانهم فإنهم غير ملومين﴾ [المَعَارج: 30]
Mohammad Habib Shakir Except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed |
Mohammad Shafi Except from their spouses or from those whom they rightfully possess. For indulging in sex with them, they are, of course, not to be blamed |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Save with their wives and those whom their right hands possess, for thus they are not blameworthy |
