﴿بَرَآءَةٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتُّم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 1]
﴿براءة من الله ورسوله إلى الذين عاهدتم من المشركين﴾ [التوبَة: 1]
Mohammad Habib Shakir (This is a declaration of) immunity by Allah and His Apostle towards those of the idolaters with whom you made an agreement |
Mohammad Shafi Abrogation of any obligation, by Allah and His Messenger, under any treaty you made with any polytheists.h |
Mohammed Marmaduke William Pickthall Freedom from obligation (is proclaimed) from Allah and His messenger toward those of the idolaters with whom ye made a treaty |
