﴿وَمَآ أُمِرُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِيَعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُؤۡتُواْ ٱلزَّكَوٰةَۚ وَذَٰلِكَ دِينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمَةِ ﴾
[البَينَة: 5]
﴿وما أمروا إلا ليعبدوا الله مخلصين له الدين حنفاء ويقيموا الصلاة ويؤتوا﴾ [البَينَة: 5]
| Mohammad Habib Shakir And they were not enjoined anything except that they should serve Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, upright, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and that is the right religion |
| Mohammad Shafi And they were enjoined not but to worship Allah, keeping their way of life exclusively for Him, turning away from all that was false; and to establish the prayer ; and to give the Zakaat. And this is the way of life sound, clear and ever applicable |
