﴿وَشَرَوۡهُ بِثَمَنِۭ بَخۡسٖ دَرَٰهِمَ مَعۡدُودَةٖ وَكَانُواْ فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 20]
﴿وشروه بثمن بخس دراهم معدودة وكانوا فيه من الزاهدين﴾ [يُوسُف: 20]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al They sold him for a miserable price, for a few coins counted out. In such low estimation did they hold him |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they sold him for a low price, a few coins, and they were indifferent about him |
| Ali Quli Qarai And they sold him for a cheap price, a few dirhams, for they set small store by him |
| Ali Unal And they sold him for a paltry price – a few silver coins – so little did they value him |
| Hamid S Aziz And they sold him for a mean price, a few dirham counted out- in such low estimation did they hold him |
| John Medows Rodwell And they sold him for a paltry price - for some dirhems counted down, and at no high rate did they value him |
| Literal And they bought him with a reduced/unjust price, counted/numbered silver coins , and they were in him from the indifferent/uninterested |
