Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 32 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿قَالَتۡ فَذَٰلِكُنَّ ٱلَّذِي لُمۡتُنَّنِي فِيهِۖ وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدتُّهُۥ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦ فَٱسۡتَعۡصَمَۖ وَلَئِن لَّمۡ يَفۡعَلۡ مَآ ءَامُرُهُۥ لَيُسۡجَنَنَّ وَلَيَكُونٗا مِّنَ ٱلصَّٰغِرِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 32]
﴿قالت فذلكن الذي لمتنني فيه ولقد راودته عن نفسه فاستعصم ولئن لم﴾ [يُوسُف: 32]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al She said, “There before you is the man for whom you blamed me. I did seek to seduce him from himself but he firmly saved himself guiltless, and now, if he does not as I wish, he will certainly be cast into prison, and be of the company of the hardest.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad She said: this is the one whom you blamed me about him, and I certainly wanted to seduce him but he resisted, and if he does not do what I order him, he shall be imprisoned and he certainly becomes of the belittled ones |
| Ali Quli Qarai She said, ‘He is the one on whose account you blamed me. Certainly, I did solicit him, but he was continent, and if he does not do what I bid him, surely he shall be imprisoned and humbled.’ |
| Ali Unal She said: "This is the one about whom you have been taunting me. And, indeed, I did seek to enjoy myself by him, but he was resolute in his chastity. Yet if he continues to refuse what I command him, he shall certainly be imprisoned, and shall certainly find himself among the humbled |
| Hamid S Aziz Said she, "There before you is he about whom you blamed me. I did seek to seduce him for his person, but he did save himself firmly, guiltless. But now if he does not what I bid him he shall surely be cast into prison and shall surely be among those |
| John Medows Rodwell She said, "This is he about whom ye blamed me. I wished him to yield to my desires, but he stood firm. But if he obey not my command, he shall surely be cast into prison, and become one of the despised |
| Literal She said: "So that (is) what you blamed/reprimanded me in him, and I had seduced/enticed him from himself so he held fast/protected himself from evil , and if (E) he does not make/do what I order/command him, he will be imprisoned (E) and (he) will be (E) from the lowly/humiliated |
| Mir Anees Original She said, “That is the person with respect to whom you blamed me and I did seek to make him yield himself to me but he abstained, and if he does not do what I command him to do, he will definitely be imprisoned and he will be of those who are degraded.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin She said, “That is the person with respect to whom you blamed me and I did seek to make him yield himself to me but he abstained, and if he does not do what I command him to do, he will definitely be imprisoned and he will be of those who are degraded.” |
