Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 37 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 12
﴿قَالَ لَا يَأۡتِيكُمَا طَعَامٞ تُرۡزَقَانِهِۦٓ إِلَّا نَبَّأۡتُكُمَا بِتَأۡوِيلِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمَاۚ ذَٰلِكُمَا مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي رَبِّيٓۚ إِنِّي تَرَكۡتُ مِلَّةَ قَوۡمٖ لَّا يُؤۡمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَهُم بِٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ هُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 37]
﴿قال لا يأتيكما طعام ترزقانه إلا نبأتكما بتأويله قبل أن يأتيكما ذلكما﴾ [يُوسُف: 37]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al He said, “Before any food comes to feed either of you, I will surely reveal to you the truth and meaning of this, and before it befalls you. That is part of the duty which my Lord has taught me. I have abandoned the ways of a people who do not believe in God and who deny the hereafter |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad He said: food that you are provided with it does not come to you, unless I tell you of its interpretation before it comes to you. This is some of what my Master taught me. I left faith of people who do not believe in God and they disbelieve in the hereafter |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said, ‘Before the meals you are served come to you I will inform you of its interpretation. That is among things my Lord has taught me. Indeed, I renounce the creed of the people who have no faith in Allah and who [also] disbelieve in the Hereafter |
| Ali Unal He said: "The meal which you are fed (daily) will not come to you but I will have informed you of their meaning before it comes to you. This is of the knowledge that my Lord has taught me. Surely I have left behind me the way of a people who do not have faith in God (as they ought to have faith), and who do not believe in the Hereafter |
| Hamid S Aziz He said, "I shall tell you both of its interpretation before your daily meal is brought to you. That is (some) of what my Lord has taught me; verily, I have forsaken the faith of a people who believe not in Allah, and disbelieve in the Hereafter |
| John Medows Rodwell He said, "There shall not come to you in a dream any food wherewith ye shall be fed, but I will acquaint you with its interpretation ere it come to pass to you. This is a part of that which my Lord hath taught me: for I have abandoned the religion of those who believe not in God and who deny the life to come |
| Literal He said: "Feeding/food does not come to you (B) (which) you will be provided with it except I informed you with its interpretation/explanation, before (it) comes to you, that is what from what my Lord taught/instructed me , that I left a nation`s religion/faith (that) do not believe with/by God, and they are, with the end (other life), they are disbelieving |
| Mir Anees Original He said, “The food which you are provided with would not (even) come to you but I will inform you both about its interpretation before it(actually) come to you, that is (something) of what my Fosterer has taught me, I have forsaken the religious dictates of people who do not believe in Allah and do not believe in the hereafter |
