﴿وَقَالَ لِفِتۡيَٰنِهِ ٱجۡعَلُواْ بِضَٰعَتَهُمۡ فِي رِحَالِهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَعۡرِفُونَهَآ إِذَا ٱنقَلَبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰٓ أَهۡلِهِمۡ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 62]
﴿وقال لفتيانه اجعلوا بضاعتهم في رحالهم لعلهم يعرفونها إذا انقلبوا إلى أهلهم﴾ [يُوسُف: 62]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And Joseph told members of his staff to put their goods with which they had bartered into their saddlebags so they would find it only when they returned to their people, in order that they might return |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And he said to his servants: put their merchandise (and fund) in their saddlebags, so that they may recognize it when they go back to their family, so that they may return |
| Ali Quli Qarai He said to his servants, ‘Put their money [back] into their saddlebags. Maybe they will recognize it when they return to their folks, and maybe they will come back [again].’ |
| Ali Unal He (Joseph) said to his servants: "Put back their merchandise (with which they had bartered) into their saddlebags, so that they may find it there when they have returned home, and hence will (be more eager to) return |
| Hamid S Aziz Then he said to his servants, "Put their merchandise (they brought in payment) back into their packs, so that they may discover it only when they have returned to their family; per chance (or possibly) they may return |
| John Medows Rodwell Said he to his servants, "Put their money into their camel-packs, that they may perceive it when they have returned to their family: haply they will come back to us |
| Literal And he said to his youths/servants : "Put their goods/merchandise in their packsaddles, maybe/perhaps they know (recognize) it when they returned to their family/people , maybe/perhaps they return |
| Mir Anees Original And he (Yusuf) said to his servants, “Place their merchandise in their bags so that they may recognise it when they go back to their people and thereby return (to me).” |
