Quran with English translation - Surah Yusuf ayat 73 - يُوسُف - Page - Juz 13
﴿قَالُواْ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدۡ عَلِمۡتُم مَّا جِئۡنَا لِنُفۡسِدَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كُنَّا سَٰرِقِينَ ﴾
[يُوسُف: 73]
﴿قالوا تالله لقد علمتم ما جئنا لنفسد في الأرض وما كنا سارقين﴾ [يُوسُف: 73]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al The brothers said, “By God, you know full well that we did not come to commit crimes in the land, and that we are not thieves.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad They said: by God, you have certainly known that we did not come to commit corruption in the land, and we are not thieves |
| Ali Quli Qarai They said, ‘By Allah! You certainly know that we did not come to make trouble in this country, and we are not thieves.’ |
| Ali Unal They (the brothers) said: "By God! Certainly you know well that we did not come to provoke disorder and corruption in this land, and we have never been thieves |
| Hamid S Aziz They said, "By Allah! You knew we came not to do evil in the land, and that we were not thieves |
| John Medows Rodwell They said, "By God! ye know certainly that we came not to do wrong in the land and we have not been thieves |
| Literal They said: "By God, you had known we did not come to corrupt in the land/Earth and we were not stealing/robbing |
| Mir Anees Original They said, “By Allah, you know for certain that we have not come to cause corruption in the land and we are not thieves.” |
| Mir Aneesuddin They said, “By God, you know for certain that we have not come to cause corruption in the land and we are not thieves.” |
