﴿قُلۡ مَن رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ قُلِ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلۡ أَفَٱتَّخَذۡتُم مِّن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ لَا يَمۡلِكُونَ لِأَنفُسِهِمۡ نَفۡعٗا وَلَا ضَرّٗاۚ قُلۡ هَلۡ يَسۡتَوِي ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ وَٱلۡبَصِيرُ أَمۡ هَلۡ تَسۡتَوِي ٱلظُّلُمَٰتُ وَٱلنُّورُۗ أَمۡ جَعَلُواْ لِلَّهِ شُرَكَآءَ خَلَقُواْ كَخَلۡقِهِۦ فَتَشَٰبَهَ ٱلۡخَلۡقُ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ قُلِ ٱللَّهُ خَٰلِقُ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡوَٰحِدُ ٱلۡقَهَّٰرُ ﴾
[الرَّعد: 16]
﴿قل من رب السموات والأرض قل الله قل أفاتخذتم من دونه أولياء﴾ [الرَّعد: 16]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Say, “Who is the Guardian Evolver of the heavens and the earth?” Say, “God”. And say, “Do you then take protectors other than Him, those who have no power themselves to either benefit or to do harm?” Say, “Are the blind equal to those who see? Or the depths of darkness equal with light?” Or do they assign to God partners who have created something like He has created, so that their creation seemed similar to them? Say, “God is the Creator of all things. He is the One, the Supreme, and Irresistible.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Say: who is the Master of the skies and the earth? Say: God. Say: did you take protectors other than God who have no power to benefit or to harm themselves? Say: are the blind and the one who can see equal, or are the darkness and the light equal? Or did they make partners for God that created as He created, and it seemed like the creation to them? Say: God is creator of everything, and He is the One, the supreme (and dominant) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Say, ‘Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?’ Say, ‘Allah!’ Say, ‘Have you then taken others besides Him for guardians, who have no control over their own benefit or harm?’ Say, ‘Are the blind one and the seer equal? Are darkness and light equal?’ Have they set up for Allah partners who have created like His creation, so that the creations seemed confusable to them? Say, ‘Allah is the creator of all things, and He is the One and the All-paramount.’ |
| Ali Unal Say: "Who is the Lord of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "God." Say (also): "Do you then take for guardians, apart from Him, , such as have no power to bring benefit to, or avert harm from, even themselves?" Say: "Are the blind and the seeing equal or are the depths of darkness and the light equal?" Or have they assigned to God partners who create the like of His creation so that the creation (that they make and God’s creation) seem alike to them (so that they cannot distinguish the true Creator?)" Say: "God is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the All-Overwhelming |

| John Medows Rodwell SAY: Who is Lord of the Heavens and of the Earth? SAY: God. SAY: Why then have ye taken beside Him protectors, who even for their own selves have no power for help or harm? SAY: What! shall the blind and the seeing be held equal? Shall the darkness and the light be held equal? Or have they given associates to God who have created as He hath created, so that their creation appear to them like His? SAY: God is the Creator of all things! He is the One! the Conquering |
| Literal Say: "who (is) the skies`/space`s and the earth`s/Planet Earth`s Lord?" Say: "God." Say: "So did you take/receive from other than Him guardians/allies they do not own/possess to themselves benefit/usefulness and nor harm?" Say: "Do the blind and the seeing become equal/alike? Or do the darknesses and the light become equal/alike? Or they made/put to God partners (that) created like/as His creation so the creation looked alike/resembled on (to) them?" Say: "God (is) creator (of) every thing, and He is the one, the defeater/conqueror |
| Mir Anees Original Say, “Who is the Fosterer of the skies and the earth?” Say, “Allah.” Say, “Then do you take guardians besides Him, who do not have the power to benefit or harm (even) their own selves?” Say, “Are the blind and the seeing equal or is the darkness equal to light. Or do they assign partners for Allah who have created as He has created, so that the creation (of Allah and theirs appear) similar to them?” Say, “Allah is the Creator of everything and He is the One, the Omnipotent.” Allah and theirs appear) similar to them?” Say, “Allah is the Creator of everything and He is the One, the Omnipotent.” |
