Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 226 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 2
﴿لِّلَّذِينَ يُؤۡلُونَ مِن نِّسَآئِهِمۡ تَرَبُّصُ أَرۡبَعَةِ أَشۡهُرٖۖ فَإِن فَآءُو فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٞ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 226]
﴿للذين يؤلون من نسائهم تربص أربعة أشهر فإن فاءوا فإن الله غفور﴾ [البَقَرَة: 226]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al For those who take an oath of abstention from their wives, a waiting period for four months is ordained. If then they return, God is the Oft-Forgiving, the Merciful Redeemer |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad For those who swear off their wives (not to have intercourse with them) is a wait of four months. But If they return (and change their mind), God is forgiving and merciful |
Ali Quli Qarai For those who forswear their wives shall be a waiting [period]of four months. And if they recant, Allah is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful |
Ali Unal For those who vow abstinence from their wives there is a respite of four months. Then, if they go back on their vow (within this period by atoning), then surely God is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate |
