Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 31 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِي بِأَسۡمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 31]
﴿وعلم آدم الأسماء كلها ثم عرضهم على الملائكة فقال أنبئوني بأسماء هؤلاء﴾ [البَقَرَة: 31]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And He taught Adam the names of all things, then He placed them before the angels and said, “Tell me the names of these if you are right.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And He taught Adam the names/attributes, all of them. And then presented them to the angels and said: tell Me the names/attributes of these, if you are truthful |
| Ali Unal (Having brought him into existence, God) taught Adam the names, all of them. Then (in order to clarify the supremacy of humankind and the wisdom in their being created and made vicegerent on the earth), He presented them (the things and beings, whose names had been taught to Adam, with their names) to the angels, and said, "Now tell Me the names of these, if you are truthful (in your praising, worshipping, and sanctifying Me as My being God and Lord deserves) |
