Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 35 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿وَقُلۡنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسۡكُنۡ أَنتَ وَزَوۡجُكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنۡهَا رَغَدًا حَيۡثُ شِئۡتُمَا وَلَا تَقۡرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 35]
﴿وقلنا ياآدم اسكن أنت وزوجك الجنة وكلا منها رغدا حيث شئتما ولا﴾ [البَقَرَة: 35]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al We said, “O Adam, dwell you and your mate in the paradise, and eat of the bountiful things therein, as you please, but do not approach this tree, or you will collide into harm and transgression.” |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We said: Adam, you and your wife live in the garden and eat as much as you want from anywhere (and anything) you want, but do not go near this tree because you become one of the wrongdoers |
Ali Quli Qarai We said, ‘O Adam, dwell with your mate in paradise and eat thereof freely whencesoever you wish, but do not approach this tree, lest you should be among the wrongdoers.’ |
Ali Unal O Adam! Dwell you, and your spouse, in the Garden, and eat (of the fruits) thereof to your hearts’ content where you desire, but do not approach this tree, or you will both be among the wrongdoers |
Hamid S Aziz And we said, "O Adam dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise, and eat there from amply as you wish; but do not draw near this tree or you will be of the transgressors |
John Medows Rodwell And we said, "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye plentifully therefrom wherever ye list; but to this tree come not nigh, lest ye become of the transgressors |
Literal And We said: "You Adam, reside/inhabit you and your wife/spouse the Paradise/treed garden, and you (B) eat from it easily/comfortably where/when you (B) wanted, and do not approach/near (B) this the tree, so you (B) become from the unjust/oppressors |
Mir Anees Original And We said, "O Adam ! you and your wife, dwell in the garden, and eat from it freely (from) wherever you will, but do not go near this tree, because you will become one of those who are unjust |
