Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 92 - البَقَرَة - Page - Juz 1
﴿۞ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَكُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ ثُمَّ ٱتَّخَذۡتُمُ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِۦ وَأَنتُمۡ ظَٰلِمُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 92]
﴿ولقد جاءكم موسى بالبينات ثم اتخذتم العجل من بعده وأنتم ظالمون﴾ [البَقَرَة: 92]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Moses came to you with guidance, yet you worshipped the calf even after that, and you behaved wrongfully |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And Moses came to you with clear proofs, then you took a calf (as god) in his absence, and you were wrongdoers |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly Moses brought you manifest proofs, but then you took up the Calf in his absence and you were wrongdoers |
| Ali Unal Assuredly, Moses came to you with the clear proofs of the truth. Then however, very soon after he left you, you adopted the calf as deity, proving yourselves to be wrongdoers (who were continually committing such sins as breaking your covenants with God and serving false deities in His place) |
| Hamid S Aziz Moses came to you with manifest signs, then you took up with the calf when he had gone and did wrong |
| John Medows Rodwell Moreover, Moses came unto you with proofs of his mission. Then in his absence ye took the calf for your God, and did wickedly |
| Literal And Moses had (E) come to you with the evidences, then you took/received the calf from after him, and you are unjust/oppressive |
