﴿وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ قُرۡءَانًا عَرَبِيّٗا وَصَرَّفۡنَا فِيهِ مِنَ ٱلۡوَعِيدِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ أَوۡ يُحۡدِثُ لَهُمۡ ذِكۡرٗا ﴾
[طه: 113]
﴿وكذلك أنـزلناه قرآنا عربيا وصرفنا فيه من الوعيد لعلهم يتقون أو يحدث﴾ [طه: 113]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So We have sent this down, an Arabic Quran, and explained therein in detail some of the warnings, in order that they may be conscious of God, or that it may cause their remembrance |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And that is how We sent down an Arabic Quran and We explained about the threats (of punishment) in it, so that they may be cautious, or brings about a reminder for them (and they take notice) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Thus We have sent it down as an Arabic Quran and We have paraphrased the warnings in it variously so that they may be Godwary, or it may prompt them to remembrance |
| Ali Unal And thus have We sent it down as a qur’an (a discourse) in Arabic and set out in it warnings in diverse contexts and from diverse perspectives, so that they may keep from disobedience to Us in reverence for Us and piety, or that it may prompt them to remembrance and heedfulness |
| Hamid S Aziz Thus have We revealed it in an Arabic Lecture (Quran); and have displayed in it certain threats, that per chance (or possibly) they may fear evil, or it may cause them to take heed |

| Literal And as/like that We descended it (as) an Arabic Koran, and We laid out/detailed linguistically in it from the threat, maybe/perhaps they fear and obey, or it initiates/originates/informs for them a reminder/remembrance |
