Quran with English translation - Surah Ta-Ha ayat 121 - طه - Page - Juz 16
﴿فَأَكَلَا مِنۡهَا فَبَدَتۡ لَهُمَا سَوۡءَٰتُهُمَا وَطَفِقَا يَخۡصِفَانِ عَلَيۡهِمَا مِن وَرَقِ ٱلۡجَنَّةِۚ وَعَصَىٰٓ ءَادَمُ رَبَّهُۥ فَغَوَىٰ ﴾
[طه: 121]
﴿فأكلا منها فبدت لهما سوآتهما وطفقا يخصفان عليهما من ورق الجنة وعصى﴾ [طه: 121]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So they both ate of the tree, and so their nakedness appeared to them. They began to sew together, for their clothes, leaves from the garden. Thus did Adam ignore his Lord, and allow himself to be seduced |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So they both ate from it, then their shame (their private part) appeared to them, and they began to patch over themselves with leaves of the garden. Adam disobeyed his Master, so he went wrong |
Ali Quli Qarai So they both ate of it, and their nakedness became evident to them, and they began to stitch over themselves with the leaves of paradise. Adam disobeyed his Lord, and went amiss |
Ali Unal They both ate of it, so their shameful parts (and all the seemingly evil impulses in their creation) were apparent to them, and both began to cover themselves with leaves from the Garden. Adam disobeyed his Lord and fell into error |
