Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 26 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿وَقَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَلَدٗاۗ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥۚ بَلۡ عِبَادٞ مُّكۡرَمُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 26]
﴿وقالوا اتخذ الرحمن ولدا سبحانه بل عباد مكرمون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 26]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And they say, “God, the Merciful Benefactor has a son, glory be to him.” No, they are servants raised to honor |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And they said: the beneficent took a child. He is flawless, rather they (the angels) are His honored servants |
Ali Quli Qarai They say, ‘The All-beneficent has taken offsprings.’ Immaculate is He! Indeed, they are [His] honoured servants |
Ali Unal Yet some say, "The All-Merciful has taken to Himself a child." All-Glorified He is (in that He is absolutely above doing such things). Rather, those (the angels, whom they regard as God’s offspring) are but His honored servants |
Hamid S Aziz And they say, "The Beneficent has taken a son; glorified be He! Nay, but they are honoured servants |
John Medows Rodwell Yet they say, "The God of Mercy hath begotten issue from the angels." Glory be to Him! Nay, they are but His honoured servants |
Literal And they said: "The merciful took/received a child (son) His praise/glory but honoured worshippers/slaves |
Mir Anees Original And they say, “The Beneficent (Allah) has taken a son." Glorified be He. No, they are (His) honoured servants |
