Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Anbiya’ ayat 35 - الأنبيَاء - Page - Juz 17
﴿كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ وَنَبۡلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ فِتۡنَةٗۖ وَإِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 35]
﴿كل نفس ذائقة الموت ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة وإلينا ترجعون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 35]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Every soul will have a taste of death, and We challenge you with bad and with good, and to Us you must return |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad Every person tastes the death, and We test you with the bad and the good as a trial, and you are returned to Us |
| Ali Quli Qarai Every soul shall taste death, and We will test you with good and ill by way of test, and to Us you will be brought back |
| Ali Unal Every soul (person) is bound to taste death, and We try you through the bad and the good things (of life) by way of testing (so that your real character and rank may reveal itself). In fact, you are on the way to return to Us, (to finally be brought to Our Presence) |
| Hamid S Aziz Every soul must taste of death. We will test you with evil and with good, as a trial; and unto Us will you be returned |
| John Medows Rodwell Every soul shall taste of death: and for trial will we prove you with evil and with good; and unto Us shall ye be brought back |
| Literal Every self (is) tasting/experiencing the death/lifelessness, and We test you with the bad/harm and the good/generosity (as) a test , and to Us you are being returned |
| Mir Aneesuddin Every soul tastes death. And We test you with evil and good trial (unfavourable and favourable circumstances), and you will be returned to Us |
