Quran with English translation - Surah Al-hajj ayat 39 - الحج - Page - Juz 17
﴿أُذِنَ لِلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ ظُلِمُواْۚ وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ نَصۡرِهِمۡ لَقَدِيرٌ ﴾
[الحج: 39]
﴿أذن للذين يقاتلون بأنهم ظلموا وإن الله على نصرهم لقدير﴾ [الحج: 39]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al To those against whom war is made, permission is given to fight, because they were wronged, and indeed God is most powerful for their aid |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad (Fighting) is permitted for those who are attacked (and war is waged against them), because they are wronged, and God is certainly able to help them (to victory) |
| Ali Quli Qarai Those who are fought against are permitted [to fight] because they have been wronged, and Allah is indeed able to help them |
| Ali Unal The believers against whom war is waged are given permission to fight in response, for they have been wronged. Surely, God has full power to help them to victory – |
| Hamid S Aziz Permission is given to those who fight because they have been wronged, and, indeed, Allah has power to give them victory |
| John Medows Rodwell A sanction is given to those who, because they have suffered outrages, have taken up arms; and verily, God is well able to succour them |
| Literal (It) was permitted/allowed/announced to those who fight/kill with that they are/were caused injustice to/oppressed, and that truly God (is) on giving them victory/aiding them capable/able (E) |
| Mir Anees Original who were driven out of their houses unjustly, only because they said, "Our Fosterer is Allah." And had Allah not repelled some people by others (then) cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques wherein Allah's name is remembered much, would have surely been pulled down. And Allah will definitely help him who helps Him, Allah is certainly Strong, Mighty |
| Mir Aneesuddin who were driven out of their houses unjustly, only because they said, "Our Lord is God." And had God not repelled some people by others (then) cloisters and churches and synagogues and mosques wherein God's name is remembered much, would have surely been pulled down. And God will definitely help him who helps Him, God is certainly Strong, Mighty |
