Quran with English translation - Surah Al-Mu’minun ayat 18 - المؤمنُون - Page - Juz 18
﴿وَأَنزَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءَۢ بِقَدَرٖ فَأَسۡكَنَّٰهُ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ ذَهَابِۭ بِهِۦ لَقَٰدِرُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 18]
﴿وأنـزلنا من السماء ماء بقدر فأسكناه في الأرض وإنا على ذهاب به﴾ [المؤمنُون: 18]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And We send down water from the sky by a certain measure, and We cause it to soak in the earth, and We certainly are able to make it disappear |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We sent down rain from the sky in proper amount, then We made it settle in the earth, and indeed We are able to take it away |
| Ali Quli Qarai We sent down water from the sky in a measured manner, and We lodged it within the ground, and We are indeed able to take it away |
| Ali Unal We send down from the sky water with a measure set by Us, and lodge it in the earth. We are most certainly able to withdraw it |
| Hamid S Aziz And We send down from the heaven water by measure, and We make it rest in the earth; but, verily, We are able to withdraw it |
| John Medows Rodwell And we send down water from the Heaven in its due degree, and we cause it to settle on the earth; - and we have power for its withdrawal |
| Literal And We descended from the sky/space water with a measure/quantity , so We settled it in the land/Earth , and We are on taking away/eliminating with it capable/able (E) |
