Quran with English translation - Surah An-Nur ayat 6 - النور - Page - Juz 18
﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ يَرۡمُونَ أَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُمۡ شُهَدَآءُ إِلَّآ أَنفُسُهُمۡ فَشَهَٰدَةُ أَحَدِهِمۡ أَرۡبَعُ شَهَٰدَٰتِۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ﴾
[النور: 6]
﴿والذين يرمون أزواجهم ولم يكن لهم شهداء إلا أنفسهم فشهادة أحدهم أربع﴾ [النور: 6]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al And for those who accuse their spouses, and have in support, no evidence but their own, their solitary evidence can be taken if they bear witness four times with a promise by God that they are solemnly telling the truth |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And those who accuse their spouses, and there is no witnesses for them except themselves, then their individual testimony (is acceptable) if they testify four times (swearing) by God that he is certainly of the truthful ones |
Ali Quli Qarai As for those who accuse their wives [of adultery], but have no witnesses except themselves, the testimony of such a man shall be a fourfold testimony [sworn] by Allah that he is indeed stating the truth |
Ali Unal As for those who accuse their own wives of adultery but have no witnesses except themselves, such a person must testify four times swearing by God in each oath that he is indeed speaking the truth |
Hamid S Aziz And those who cast charges (accusations, imputations) against their wives and have no witnesses except themselves, then the testimony of one of them shall be to testify four times that, by Allah, he is of those who speak the truth |
John Medows Rodwell And they who shall accuse their wives, and have no witnesses but themselves, the testimony of each of them shall be a testimony by God four times repeated, that he is indeed of them that speak the truth |
Literal And those who blame and accuse their spouses , and (there) were not for them witnesses/testifiers except themselves, so testimony/certification (of) one of them, four testimonies/certifications by God that he truly is from (E) the truthful |
