﴿وَإِذَا بَطَشۡتُم بَطَشۡتُمۡ جَبَّارِينَ ﴾
[الشعراء: 130]
﴿وإذا بطشتم بطشتم جبارين﴾ [الشعراء: 130]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al “And when you rule, you rule as dictators |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And when you attack, you attack as tyrants |
| Ali Quli Qarai and when you seize [someone for punishment], you seize [him] like tyrants |
| Ali Unal And when you strike and seize (others and their goods), strike and seize in the style of tyrants |
| Hamid S Aziz And when you seize by force, assault you like tyrants |
| John Medows Rodwell And when ye put forth your power do ye put it forth with harshness |
| Literal And if you destroyed/attacked violently, you destroyed/attacked violently (as) tyrants/rebels |
