Quran with English translation - Surah An-Naml ayat 42 - النَّمل - Page - Juz 19
﴿فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرۡشُكِۖ قَالَتۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مِن قَبۡلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسۡلِمِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 42]
﴿فلما جاءت قيل أهكذا عرشك قالت كأنه هو وأوتينا العلم من قبلها﴾ [النَّمل: 42]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al So when she arrived, she was asked, “Is this your throne?” She said, “It was just like this, but knowledge was bestowed on us in advance of this, and we are Muslims.” |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad So when she came, she was told: is your throne like this? She said: it is like it, and we were given the knowledge before that and we were surrendered |
| Ali Quli Qarai So when she came, it was said [to her], ‘Is your throne like this one?’ She said, ‘It seems to be the same, and we were informed before it, and we had submitted.’ |
| Ali Unal When she (the Queen) arrived, she was asked: "Is your throne like this?" She said: "It is as if it were the same. We were given knowledge (about the magnificence of Solomon’s rule and his extraordinary power) before all this (we have seen here), and we have already decided to submit |
