Quran with English translation - Surah Al-‘Ankabut ayat 3 - العَنكبُوت - Page - Juz 20
﴿وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۖ فَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُواْ وَلَيَعۡلَمَنَّ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 3]
﴿ولقد فتنا الذين من قبلهم فليعلمن الله الذين صدقوا وليعلمن الكاذبين﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 3]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al We tested those before them, and God will certainly make known those who are truthful from those who are liars |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And We have certainly tested those before them, so God certainly knows those who are truthful and He certainly knows the liars |
| Ali Quli Qarai Certainly We tested those who were before them. So Allah shall surely ascertain those who are truthful, and He shall surely ascertain the liars |
| Ali Unal We certainly tested those who preceded them. (This is Our unchanging way) so that God will certainly mark out those who prove true (in their profession of faith) and He will certainly mark out those who prove false |
| Hamid S Aziz We did try those who were before you, and Allah will surely know those who are sincere, and He will surely know those who feign |
| John Medows Rodwell We put to proof those who lived before them; for God will surely take knowledge of those who are sincere, and will surely take knowledge of the liars |
| Literal And We had tested those who (were) from before them, so God knows (E) those who were truthful, and He knows (E) the liars/deniers/falsifiers |
| Mir Anees Original And We did test those before them, that Allah may definitely know (mark out) those who are truthful and definitely know (mark out) the lairs |
