Quran with English translation - Surah Al-‘Ankabut ayat 39 - العَنكبُوت - Page - Juz 20
﴿وَقَٰرُونَ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانُواْ سَٰبِقِينَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 39]
﴿وقارون وفرعون وهامان ولقد جاءهم موسى بالبينات فاستكبروا في الأرض وما كانوا﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 39]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al Remember also Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman. There came to them Moses with clear signs, but they behaved with insolence on the earth, yet they could not overreach Us |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And (We destroyed) Qarun and Pharaoh and Haman. And Moses has certainly brought them the clear proofs, but they were arrogant on the earth, and they were not overtaking (Our punishment) |
| Ali Quli Qarai And Korah, Pharaoh, and Haman. Certainly, Moses brought them manifest proofs, but they acted arrogantly in the land; though they could not outmaneuver [Allah] |
| Ali Unal And Korah, Pharaoh, and Haman – indeed Moses came to them with clear proofs of the truth, but they were arrogant and oppressive in the land. Yet they could not outrun (Our punishment) |
| Hamid S Aziz And Korah, Pharaoh and Haman! Moses did come to them with clear signs, but they were inflated with pride in the earth. Yet they could not outstrip Us |
| John Medows Rodwell And Corah and Pharaoh and Haman. With proofs of his mission did Moses come to them, and they behaved proudly on the earth; but us they could not outstrip |
| Literal And Qaroon/Korah , and Pharaoh and Haman , and had come to them Moses with the evidences, so they became arrogant in the earth/Planet Earth, and they were not racing/surpassing/preceding |
| Mir Anees Original And Qaroon and Firawn and Haman; and Musa came to them with clear proofs, but they considered themselves great in the earth and (therefore) they could not escape (Our punishment) |
